Role Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Active Directory environment for efficient user access.
• Administer Group Policy Objects (GPO) to enforce security settings and user configurations.
• Perform user account management, including creation, deletion, and updates.
• Implement password policies and account lockout strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot directory-related issues.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Assist in integrating directory services with cloud environments.
• Provide technical support for Active Directory and related systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve and enhance directory services.
• Manage organizational units (OUs) and permissions effectively.
• Develop and maintain documentation for active directory processes.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation tasks related to Active Directory.
• Implement backup solutions for directory data protection.
• Point of contact for user authentication and access issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices regarding directory management.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as an Active Directory Administrator.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience in managing user account lifecycles.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for AD tasks.
• Knowledge of group policies and security settings.
• Experience with VPNs and remote access solutions.
• Familiarity with directory federation services.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with McAfee or Symantec security products is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Understanding of network protocols and services.
