Responsibilities
The Accountant - Corporate Accounting position serves a critical role in providing accounting support and reporting preparation to various indirect support functions as well as assisting in complex accounting processes
This position will be part of the Corporate Accounting group and will report to a Manager/Supervisor within the Corporate Accounting group
They will assist in the month-end close process for indirect support functions, provide reporting and forecast/budging support, and handle ad-hoc accounting requests
Maintain compliance with applicable U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
Maintain compliance with SOX controls over corporate accounting
Assist in collaboration with cross functional groups such as BD, HR, HSE, IT, Real Estate, Tax, Treasury, Legal to deliver accurate and timely reporting for executive and upper-level management
Assist in month-end close processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial results for indirect support functions and corporate accounting processes as well as forecast and budget support
Assist in preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Gather information and review data to ensure the accuracy of accruals and month end results

The Accountant - Corporate Accounting position serves a critical role in providing accounting support and reporting preparation to various indirect support functions as well as assisting in complex accounting processes.
