Position: Administrative Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: Goderich (Hybrid Work Available)
Employment Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Salary: $23.50 per hour
Benefits:
• 3 weeks of paid vacation
• Additional paid office closure between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
• 10 paid sick days

About Us

Rural Response for Healthy Children (RRHC) is a charitable organization serving Huron and Perth County families. Our work helps foster a healthy community of trusted adults where children and youth thrive. We offer workshops, programs, services and supports that address specific concerns affecting family well-being in our community. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team and support our daily operations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth administrative functions, financial management, and executive support.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Administration
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering phones, greeting visitors, and offering information to the public.
• Maintain office space, organize files, and ensure a professional office setting.
• Act as a direct support to the Executive Director and staff as needed.
• Manage and maintain organizational records and referrals.

Financial Management Coordination
• Oversee general bookkeeping, payroll administration, and CRA remittances.
• Manage QuickBooks for revenue, expenses, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Process donations, grants, and other income, and issue charitable tax receipts.
• Assist in preparing annual financial documents for audit and ensure financial accountability.
• Conduct banking transactions and manage petty cash.
• Track and process invoices, timesheets, and payroll.

Executive and Staff Support
• Assist with volunteer management, including screening, training, and tracking hours.
• Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
• Support marketing and promotions, including social media and community outreach.
• Assist with board meeting preparations, fundraising initiatives, and program registrations.
• Support staff wellness initiatives and ensure reporting and statistical data tracking.

Health Safety
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and fire regulations.
• Maintain Standard First Aid Certification and obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Qualifications
• Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Education and/or relevant experience in office administration, financial management, or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
• Understanding of payroll systems and CRA remittances.
• Commitment to the well-being of vulnerable families and children.
• Valid driver’s license.
