Seminole Science Charter School is seeking an engaging and passionate 5th Grade Math & Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who can inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and deliver high-quality instruction through hands-on learning, inquiry-based activities, and real-world problem solving.
The ideal candidate creates a positive and structured learning environment, supports students' academic and social-emotional growth, uses data-driven instruction to maximize student achievement, and collaborates effectively with families and colleagues to ensure student success.
Qualifications
Florida certification or eligibility in Elementary Education (K–6):
Professional Certificate
Temporary Certificate
Statement of Eligibility
Experience teaching upper elementary mathematics and/or science preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Gifted Endorsement or experience working with gifted learners
Experience with STEM education, robotics programs (VEX, FLL), engineering challenges, or academic competition teams
Experience incorporating technology, project-based learning, and hands-on investigations into instruction
