Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a 3D Modeler and BOQ Expert. The role involves creating accurate 3D models of pre-engineered buildings, mezzanines, and related structural components, using industry-standard 3D design tools. The 3D Modeler and BOQ Expert will prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs, and quantity estimates aligned with project drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with design, engineering, and fabrication teams to refine models, optimize material usage, and ensure constructability. The role also includes reviewing design changes, updating models and BOQs accordingly, and maintaining organized documentation to support project planning, costing, and execution.
Qualifications
• Strong 3D creation skills, including 3D Design, 3D Modeling, and experience working as a Modeler.
• Proficiency with 3D tools such as Blender and related modeling software for architectural or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of Lighting concepts within 3D models to enhance visualization and presentation quality.
• Proven experience preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs, and cost-related documentation for construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with structural and architectural drawings, including the ability to interpret and translate them into precise 3D representations.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills for managing multiple projects and revisions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with engineering, fabrication, and site teams.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in pre-engineered buildings or industrial construction is an advantage.
