Keon Park Kindergarten is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate **Diploma Qualified Educator** to join our team on a **temporary** basis, with the possibility for future permanent employment. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated educator who will contribute positively to our high-quality educational program. **Work Hours:** * Minimum of 11.5hrs per week Tuesday and Friday 9.15am – 3.00pm * Potential for additional weekly casual hours in 4-year-old group Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30am – 2.30pm * To commence ASAP by negotiation * Thorough induction, including extensive child safe checking procedures, will be followed before commencing employment **Skills:** * A genuine passion to work with preschool children. * Patient, calm, and friendly nature * Reliable and motivated * High quality communication skills * Keen to work in partnership with a team of experienced and supportive teachers/educators. * A strong commitment and understanding of the child safe standards. * Strong commitment to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of children * Motivated to contribute to the implementation of a high-quality preschool program within a collaborative team approach.
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education or Equivalent (as assessed by ACECQA) * Current Working with Children Check * Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate, including CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma training * The right to work in Australia * Police check * Current child protection, mandatory reporting and Child Safe training documents (or a willingness to obtain)
