$110k - $140k + vehicle, negotiable depending on skills & experience

Permanent Full-time role
ConsultANZ is looking for Intermediate Estimators to join an experienced team and assist in managing all facets of tendering and estimating for large civil projects.
Main Duties
Your Responsibilities Are To
Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects based on project specifications and drawings.
Analyze project documentation to determine the scope of work, materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
Collaborate with other estimators, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop competitive bids.
Keep abreast of industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure cost estimates are accurate and competitive.
Assist in preparing bids and proposals for projects and participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Support the tendering process by reviewing and interpreting project documents, conducting site visits, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Requirements
The Successful Candidate Will Bring To The Role
Has a tertiary education in civil engineering or construction-related qualification.
5+ years of experience as an Estimator.
Proficiency in Estimating Software such as Candy CCS, CostX, Benchmark, and Excel.
Proven experience as an estimator in the Civil Engineering industry, has successfully estimated and won projects.
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Thoroughly understand contracts related to the projects, including identifying potential risks and ensuring that estimates comply with contractual requirements.
