Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Kashipur, Uttarakhand

About the Role:

We are seeking for a candidate who is responsible for efficient warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination to ensure timely dispatches and optimal stock management. This role involves coordinating with production, sales, and transport teams to maintain smooth movement of raw materials and finished goods while ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

- Oversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) inventory management principles where inventory is in SKU. For order based inventory follow-up with Sales Marketing Team for early shipment.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization to improve efficiency and reduce material handling costs.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
- Implement automation or digital tools for efficient warehouse operations.

Logistics Dispatch Coordination:

- Plan and schedule dispatches based on sales orders and customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners to optimize freight costs and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with GST, E-way Bills, and other regulatory requirements.
- Track and analyze logistics performance, turnaround time (TAT), and on-time delivery rates.

Compliance Safety:

- Ensure adherence to safety norms and regulatory requirements in warehouse operations.
- Implement 5S and Lean warehouse practices to improve workplace efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety training and audits for warehouse staff.

Process Improvement Reporting:

- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA and WMS for real-time tracking and reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, stock status, and logistics KPIs.

Preferred Skills

- Expertise in inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage vendor relationships.
- Good understanding of transportation regulations, GST, and E-Way Bills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualification:

- BBA/MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations.

Experience:

- 5-7 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD Module and logistics planning tools.
