World Language Teacher
Job Description
Qualifications:
Hold a New Jersey Teacher of World Language Certificate
Must be knowledgeable of NJSLS and mandated state testing
Excellent experience teaching and working with students in various grade levels
Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of teaching a foreign language, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn a second language
Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, use proper grammar and vocabulary with students, staff, administration, and the community
Experience teaching at the elementary or secondary levels
Successful implementation of instructional strategies
Must be computer literate
Highly motivated result-driven educator
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,130.00 - $101,425.00 per year
