Maths and English tutor in person

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic in-person Maths and English tutor to support students in developing their academic skills. The successful candidate will deliver personalised tutoring sessions, fostering a positive learning environment to help students achieve their educational goals. Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and tailored Maths and English tutoring sessions to students of various ages and abilities.(primary -gcse)
Assess individual student needs and develop customised lesson plans to address specific learning objectives.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Create a supportive and motivating environment that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
Maintain organised records of student attendance, progress, and session outcomes.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to learning support.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those with special educational needs.
Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English at various levels.
Experience working with children or young learners is highly desirable.
Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) support strategies is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
Organised, reliable, and capable of creating engaging lesson plans tailored to individual students’ requirements.

Pay: £20.00 per hour
