The Opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced and ambitious lawyer to join our growing Workplace Health & Safety team in Sydney.
Our team are genuine safety law specialists, and this is a dedicated safety and coronial law role, sitting separately from our Employment & Incentives team
As an Associate, you will be doing front end and back end WHS work, including:
Responding to incidents, including providing advice on improvement, prohibition, and infringement notices
Preparing for and appearing in court for WHS prosecutions and Coronial Inquests
Advising on safety governance and best practise, including officer duties
Candidate Profile

You will need to be an Australian-qualified lawyer, with 2-5 years post-qualification experience, ideally gained in private practice, along with the following skills and attributes:
Demonstrated experience working in workplace health & safety law
Strong organisational skills, the with ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities within tight timeframes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Collegiate and collaborative
Be commercial aware and enthusiastic about business development
Enjoy working in a fast-paced high-performing team
