Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position involves fabricating, fitting, and welding a variety of steel components using MIG and Arc welding processes. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a fabrication environment, including experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Proficient in Arc and MIG welding on various gauges and thicknesses of steel, including all welding positions.
Experience in the manufacturing of compactors, garbage containers, and recycling bins is considered a strong asset.
Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment, including brake presses, drill presses, shears, and other general shop machinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve fabrication and welding-related issues.
Capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Willing and able to travel to various job sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to perform welding, repair, and installation work as required.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Possess a valid Ontario G Class driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
Wage TBD based on experience.
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
