Recruitment Coordinator / Special Projects Administrator (12 Month Contract)
Job Description
General Description:
The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as supporting the onboarding process. This role works closely with hiring managers to understand and fulfill the requirements of open positions while building strong working relationships across the organization. In addition, the Recruitment Coordinator supports various administrative duties, maintains recruitment records and reporting, and assists with special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Post job advertisements via career websites, social and community partnerships to attract and maintain top talent
Liaise with sourcing partners to continuously grow the applicant pipeline
Source, screen, interview candidates for multiple levels of roles
Create and maintain recruitment tracking and reporting processes.
Consult with managers to determine staff requirements and specific job objectives
Provide coaching to hiring managers on recruitment-related issues,
Screen and evaluate and resumes
Utilize recruiting tools such as testing to assess candidates’ skills
Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
Contact successful; candidates and schedule onboarding sessions
Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods and best practices
Attend job fairs and careers events
Onboarding new employees
Conduct employee interviews
HR and Health and Safety related projects
Any additional projects as assigned
Any additional office administrator duties as assigned
Education:
Completion of Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recruitment experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
Experience in high volume recruiting preferred
Customer Service Mindset

Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, data entry)
Pay: $21.00 per hour
