Wedding Cake Delivery Driver + setup

Wedding Cake Setup + Delivery Driver Required for busy cake shop.

Full "cake training" will be given to right candidate due to the delicate nature of the job.

MUST be available SATURDAYS and some SUNDAYS by prior agreement. Hours approximitely 8am-2pm

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional Wedding Cake Delivery Driver to join our team. As a wedding cake delivery driver, you will play a key role in ensuring that our beautiful cakes are delivered to clients' weddings, venues, and other special events in perfect condition and on time. You will be responsible for safe transport, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service to ensure our customers have a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and unload wedding cakes to and from delivery locations.
Ensure cakes are properly secured during transport to prevent any damage or shifting.
Communicate with clients to confirm delivery details and provide updates as needed.
Arrive at delivery locations on time, ensuring all cakes are delivered in perfect condition.
Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful at all times.
Set up and present cakes at the venue or event, ensuring proper display and arrangement.
Handle any special requests from clients and venue staff with a positive, can-do attitude.
Perform vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in proper working condition.
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of wedding cakes.
Assist with cake packaging and prep as needed during busy seasons.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all necessary supplies (such as cake boards, boxes, etc.) are available for each delivery.
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
Ability to safely handle delicate items and ensure cakes are delivered in pristine condition.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Must be able to lift and carry cakes, cake stands, and other equipment (up to [X] pounds).
Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the food service or event planning industry.
Knowledge of wedding and event etiquette.
Clean driving record and familiarity with the local area.
