Wedding and Event Manager
Job Description
Setting up venues for events, including chairs and building stages.
Ensuring that seating arrangements adhere to floor chart.
Working with clients and vendors to ensure venues are providing all items necessary to execute events.
Ensuring the event hall is clean and organized.
Adhering to event safety standards.
Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
Overseeing/training of part time staff.
Welcoming clients, guests, and vendors.
Being able to provide useful information to event-goers.
Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.
Packing up equipment when the event is completed.
Requirements:
Weekend availability.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Diligence and attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Physical stamina and high energy levels.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform under stress.
Excellent multitasking ability.
Conflict management skills.
May be required to lift items up to 15-20lbs.
