Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Assist with food preparation and kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth operations
Upsell menu items by highlighting specials, pairing suggestions, and premium options to maximize sales opportunities
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and food safety practices
Skills
Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings like nightclubs
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse guest needs professionally
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service
Ability to upsell effectively by understanding menu offerings and guest preferences
Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for supporting food prep and understanding food safety protocols
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting
Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling techniques
Prior host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
