Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and service standards are met.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the touch bistro POS system.
Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and specials.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
Maintain knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Uphold a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification is a plus.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous.
