Job Description
As a volunteer teacher, you will provide essential Mathematics support to children in Years 1 to 6 from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Your role will be instrumental in helping students build confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and adapt smoothly to their new learning environment. Through your guidance, you will empower young learners to reach their full potential and thrive in their education.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to students’ needs.
· Provide one-on-one or small group support to enhance learning.
· Assist with homework, exam preparation, and understanding key concepts.
· Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
· Collaborate with other volunteers and ACAA staff to improve lesson plans and teaching strategies.
