Role/ Job Title: Virtualization & Cloud Operations Manager
Business: Information Technology
Function/ Department: Information Technology
Place of Work: Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities:
'• To represent IT as the Virtualization & Cloud expert
'• Own and manage the Virtualization server platform on VMware, Nutanix
• Lead the team in Diagnosis and analysis of technical issues, recommend and undertake investigative solutions and performance tuning
• Leadership and People management of the support team including FTE and vendor resources
• Service delivery as per defined KRA and SLA. Produce metrics towards the same.
• Attending meetings, design, document and present technical solutions to business requirements
• To assist Technology teams in the completion of projects, to meet deadlines and expectations
• Leading projects, produce project design documentation and lead implementation activities
• To maintain an up to date knowledge of changes in IT, with respect to the virtualization & cloud domain
• Interpret requirements to develop positive and negative scenarios for virtualization & cloud setup availabilities and recoveries
• Design and architect Virtualization & Cloud platform solutions and manage deployments
• Face Audits, providing detailed explanation and evidences, provide observation closures
• Adhere to team priorities and work in tandem to achieve the DC Infra team goals and objectives
• Engage with Hardware vendors, Service partners, OEM's in resolving issues and drive expected technology delivery outcomes
• Develops detailed documentation for environments where individual is primary project lead or application Subject Matter Expert and capable of training others on particulars of those environments.
Secondary Responsibilities :
'• Participate in technology cohorts in driving technology projects beyond existing delivery responsibility
• Evaluate hardware and service partners to ensure IDFC technology requirements are effectively met
• Participate in automation activities and take lead to identify the opportunities to automate BAU (business as usual) and project tasks which can be automated.
• Communicates in manner that is appropriate for the situation and possesses the business acumen necessary to communicate how technical design decisions affect users and budgets.
• Capable of developing and executing test plans on emerging technology or new functionality.
• Act as a role model and positive influence for the team and colleagues
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities :
'People management of FTE team members. Influence key stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Guiding and leading support team members in addressing and troubleshooting technical issues in the infrastructure.

'Deliver & effectively track all the deliverables
