Operations Manager – International Finance & Client Coordination
Job Description
About The Role
This isn't a spreadsheet-and-close-the-books finance job.
At EduFund, our Operations Manager – International Finance & Client Coordination sits at the intersection of client coordination, vendor management, and financial controls — making things move.
You'll also manage the operational backbone: payments, compliance, documentation, and coordination across lawyers, regional centres, and third-party vendors.
If you're someone who likes owning end-to-end processes, talking to people across geographies, and keeping a complex engine running without anyone noticing — this one's for you.
What You'll Own
External Coordination & Client Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients — families planning international financing — on payment processing, case status updates, and documentation queries
• Liaise with lawyers, regional centres, universities, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth end-to-end operations
• Drive timely follow-ups, resolve escalations, and maintain clear and professional communication across all external stakeholders — primarily in English
Payables & Receivables
• Track and manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure collections and payments happen on time, every time, in line with company policies
• Flag risks early and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Compliance & Documentation
• Monitor vendor compliance, statutory obligations, and regulatory requirements
• Draft, review, and maintain agreements, contracts, and compliance-related documents
• Support regulatory filings related to taxation and accounting processes
Internal Support
• Work closely with accounting and compliance teams on reporting, documentation, and process execution
• Prepare regular MIS and operational reports for leadership
Who We're Looking For
• 3–5 years of experience in study abroad services, immigration operations, international education, forex/remittance, or a client-facing coordination role in a cross-border context
• Comfortable being the primary point of contact for international clients and external partners — lawyers, visa offices, regional centres, and universities
• Has managed payment coordination, documentation tracking, or compliance in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
• Excellent written and verbal English — you'll regularly interact with partners and clients where precision and professionalism matter
• Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline; a finance or business background is a plus, not a must
• CA Inter or MBA (Finance) profiles are welcome — but this is not a filter
What You Can Expect In Return
• ESOPs based on performance
• Health insurance
• Statutory benefits like PF & Gratuity
• Remote work options
• Professional development opportunities
• Collaborative and inclusive work culture
