Videographer & Visual Content Specialist
Job Description
We’re looking for a creative and hands-on visual storyteller with experience producing high-quality video content from concept to final delivery
Someone who is versatile and can easily move between high-impact and fun content
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands how to build narratives through visuals, and can independently manage the full production process (planning, filming, editing), including digital asset management
You should be outgoing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating with marketing, product, scientific, and leadership teams to create content that captures our vision and drives engagement
A resourceful addition to the team who can adapt quickly to new challenges, who is also able to work with people from other cultures and can collaborate effectively across timezones
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field
3+ years of experience in videography, video production, content creation, or a similar role
Strong photography and post-production skills
Proven experience creating high-quality video content for brands, startups, technology companies, healthcare, life sciences, or other complex industries
Strong skills in filming, editing, storytelling, and post-production workflows
Solid skills in terms of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom and Audition)
Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Basic skills in after effects
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently
Strong creative judgment and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities and can work independently and with international teams
Availability to travel, as we may organize ad hoc campaigns at industry events outside the Austin area
Experience creating content in life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, AI, or other technical industries
Experience producing brand films, documentary-style content, interviews, or event coverage
Is able to develop first level marketing copy (titles etc.) ready for review
Knowledge of social media video formats and best practices (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, short-form video)
Experience with photography and broader visual content creation
Experiences building a data management system with ready-to-use template formats
Drone licence

Responsibilities
The Videographer & Visual Content Specialist will lead the creation of high-impact visual content that strengthens brand visibility, communicates our mission, and brings complex life science and AI concepts to life
This role will be responsible for developing compelling video and image assets for the different digital channels and tactics, including brand films, product demonstrations, social media, events, campaigns, and interviews
The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling skills with technical expertise in video production, photography, editing, and visual communication
Conceptualize, script, film, and edit engaging video content across brand, product, customer, event, and social media channels
Own end-to-end video production, including, planning, lighting, shooting, editing, post-production, and delivery
Produce product demos, C-level stories, interviews, podcasts, brand campaigns, and capture high-quality footage at conferences, company events, and on-location shoots
Manage video editing workflows, including color correction, sound design, proper inclusion of motion graphics, and final optimization for different platforms
Maintain consistency in brand identity, visual style, and storytelling across all content and in alignment with other videographers on the team
Stay current with emerging trends in video production, storytelling, and digital content formats
