Position Summary
Alpha Structural is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor to join our marketing team. This role goes beyond videography and filming, requiring strong post-production, editing, storytelling, and content creation skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, capturing, and editing engaging digital content that showcases our projects, team, expertise, and brand across multiple marketing channels.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
Research, develop, and create compelling content for social media platforms, YouTube, company websites, email campaigns, and other digital marketing channels.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute content strategies that align with company goals and brand messaging.
Develop engaging storylines and content concepts that effectively communicate technical construction and engineering topics to homeowners and commercial clients.
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to maximize audience engagement.
Videography & Production
Plan, coordinate, and execute video shoots at job sites, company events, customer locations, and office environments.
Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Conduct interviews with customers, team members, and industry professionals.
Capture drone footage when applicable and in compliance with FAA regulations.
Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Perform post-production tasks including color correction, color grading, audio enhancement, sound design, motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, and visual effects.
Create engaging reels, shorts, and promotional videos optimized for each platform.
Design and incorporate graphics, text overlays, animations, thumbnails, and branded visual elements.
Organize, manage, and archive digital media assets and project files.
Ensure all content meets brand standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines.
Edit and proofread written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Qualifications
Proven experience in content creation, videography, and video editing.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Understanding of video storytelling, pacing, composition, lighting, and audio production.
Strong research, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly creative with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, home improvement, engineering, architecture, or related industries.
Knowledge of social media marketing, content strategy, and digital trends.
Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Photography and graphic design experience.
