Role Summary
We are looking for a talented Videographer who can record and edit footage into a finished project that matches the management’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. The person should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story and will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the company.
Responsibilities
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Manipulating video footage using modern editing techniques.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Be able to direct the shoot/or conduct shoots on your own
• Convert ideas into visual treats. These can be in the form of Instagram videos, Reels, YouTube videos, Ad videos, Corporate Overviews, Explainer Videos, Interview formats, News formats, Motion Graphics Videos
Requirements And Skills
• Proven work experience as a Videographer
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Ability to work to a tight schedule.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
