Seeking a skilled Video Journalism Researcher to join our team at The Free Press. As a key member of our editorial department, you will be responsible for researching and finding unique content in and around New York City.
We are looking for someone with exceptional research skills who can identify the most compelling stories and events that reflect our mission to showcase humanity at its most absurd or off-beat. You will need to be able to work independently and have a keen eye for detail to succeed in this role.
As a Video Journalism Researcher, you will also be tasked with providing feedback on our video journalist's writing and reporting. This includes being able to challenge their arguments and point out areas where they may be missing important information.
Regular daily check-ins will ensure that our video journalist is staying focused and meeting their goals. We value open communication and collaboration, so if you are willing to push back against ideas and suggest new approaches, you will thrive in this role.
We are dedicated to producing high-quality content that informs and engages our audience, and we believe that our ideal candidate will share this commitment.
