Video Editor
Job Description
What you'll actually be doing
You'll be the person turning raw footage into the Reels, ads, and brand films that make people stop scrolling. This isn't a "cut clips together" job. You'll be shaping how ELVN looks and feels across every touchpoint: performance ads, UGC/creator content and our organic grid.
Day to day, you'll:
Edit Reels and short form content for Instagram: fast paced, trend aware, built to hook in the first 2 seconds
Cut performance ad creatives for Meta, working closely with the Content Strategist and performance team to iterate based on what's actually converting
Edit long form brand content: campaign films, behind the scenes, studio/event footage
Manage color grading, sound design, subtitles/captions, and motion graphics/text overlays
Keep a consistent visual language across all edited content so it always feels unmistakably ELVN
Stay on top of what's working in fitness/activewear content right now (trends, formats, sounds) and bring that into your edits
Turn around quick edits fast when something needs to go out same day (ads that need fatigue busting variants, timely trend jacks, etc.)
What we're looking for
1+ years of hands on video editing experience. Agency, in house, or freelance all count if the work is strong
Strong command of Premiere Pro and/or CapCut/After Effects; comfortable with colour grading and basic motion graphics
A portfolio/reel that shows you can edit for both scroll stopping short form AND polished brand film
An eye for pacing. You instinctively know when a cut is a beat too slow
Experience editing fitness, fashion, or D2C content is a strong plus
Someone who can take rough direction ("make this feel more premium") and translate it visually without needing everything spelled out
Fast turnaround ability. We move quickly and drop monthly, so deadlines are real
