Video Editor for Product "Getting Started" Video (Approx. 3 Minute Video)
Job Description
We already have the key assets — including the script, filmed footage, and graphics — and now need a skilled editor to bring it all together into a cohesive, professional video that aligns with our brand’s visual and tonal guidelines
✅ Example graphics — some ready for use, some needing light design or motion work
✅ Excel timing/script sheet showing which visuals or clips align with each part of the narration
Edit the provided footage and integrate visuals based on the Excel cue sheet, script, and scratch track
First draft with scratch track in place for pacing review
Final version with provided professional voiceover placed and synced
Final Version (with professional voiceover): After feedback implementation
Source Files: Full access to all project files, including:
Any custom motion graphics or animation files
All editable assets and linked media
A short note on your experience editing branded explainer or how-to videos
Links to portfolio examples (especially projects showing clear visuals, pacing, and clean branding)
Confirmation that you can deliver editable project files
Your estimated turnaround time and total fixed price
Benefits

We prefer a fixed-price project (not hourly)
70% — after approval of first draft
If you’re open to ongoing work, please mention it in your proposal — we value lasting partnerships and will prioritize editors who can offer preferential pricing for future videos in this series
Responsibilities
Editing is relatively light overall, but some graphic design or animation work may be needed to execute or refine select visual elements

Perform color correction / grading for consistent tone and exposure across all clips
Source and present 1–3 options for royalty-free, light corporate background music that complements the pacing
Implement any light motion graphics or on-screen callouts/text overlays per script and brand style
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines (colors, typography, overall visual tone)
First Draft (with scratch track): For review and feedback
Estimated length: ~3 minutes final runtime
Editing intensity: Light to moderate
Some design execution required for graphic placeholders
Turnaround: Please include your estimated timeline in your proposal

We already have the key assets — including the script, filmed footage, and graphics — and now need a skilled editor to bring it all together into a cohesive, professional video that aligns with our brand’s visual and tonal guidelines.
The final video will be about 3 minutes long. Editing is relatively light overall, but some graphic design or animation work may be needed to execute or refine select visual elements.

• 30% — after approval of final version
