Job Description
Role Summary
Digital Ultras is looking for a Video Editing Intern / Fresher with strong practical skills in editing short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms. This role focuses on editing performance-driven content for reels, shorts, and YouTube videos.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Edit long-form videos for YouTube and brand content
• Create engaging edits with proper pacing, hooks, and flow
• Add subtitles, transitions, effects, music, and overlays
• Format videos as per platform requirements (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
• Deliver multiple edits within deadlines
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently
• Maintain brand consistency across all video content
Required Skills & Requirements
• Strong working knowledge of professional video editing tools such as:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• CapCut (Advanced)
• Final Cut Pro
• Hands-on experience with reels, shorts, and vertical video formats
• Understanding of retention-focused editing and social media trends
• Experience with subtitles and text animations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good to Have
• Experience editing ad creatives
• Knowledge of sound effects and beat syncing
• Familiarity with trending reel formats
Eligibility
• Freshers or interns with practical editing experience
• Portfolio or sample work is mandatory
