Home Ice Cream has casual vacancies for Ice Cream Van Sales Operators. Our Depot Operations are located at Seventeen Mile Rocks, Qld.
We are looking for people with lots of experience or no experience in the retail industry, as all training will be provided on the commencement of your employment.
As a Van Sales Operator, you are the face of our business. How you provide service to our customers will ultimately influence whether they purchase again in the future. You will be expected to be well presented, have a friendly attitude and be a team player with a real focus on customer service and company culture.
WHAT YOUR DAY INVOLVES
Delivering pre-packaged ice cream products door to door in suburban streets, following a proven system operating for over 30 years.
Sales, with a focus on customer interaction and satisfaction.
Autonomy and team support.
Ordering and loading your truck with ice cream products (small cartons under 5kg).
Working hours (approx.) from Monday to Friday 12 noon to 8:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 6pm.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION
A big SMILE, honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
Previous experience in customer service is favourable (but not essential).
Neat and professional presentation skills.
Good English and taking and processing payments.
Current driver’s licence.
Ability to drive and navigate streets, suburban roads and/or regional areas according to the territory Route book.
