We don't believe long line ups at the doctor's office, confusing refill protocols & one-size-fits-all advice, actually fit with what Canadians need, so we've changed the game. As a Designer on Pocketpill Design, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of problems — from building a user-focused design experience on our mobile app or website to creating an effective order management system front, and ensuring that we're user focused even in the most business-focused problems.
You'll partner with PMs to translate anything between business problems, product hypotheses or feature requests to concrete, quantifiable and solvable customer problems. You'll be empowered to drive towards delivering effective solutions and elegant user experiences through partnership with your product and engineering peers. And finally, you'll help deliver these solutions in partnership with engineering.
Develop high level and detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Validate development work to ensure high-quality, consistent implementation of designs.
Participate in all agile rituals including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, story huddles, etc. Work closely with Product and Tech to come up the UI/UX for the end customer in house operations team.
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Human Factors/Ergonomics, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working on an e-commerce product.
• Proficiency with rapid prototyping tools like Figma, XD, Axure, or Sketch.
• Planning and running usability testing and synthesizing results into actionable recommendations.
• Basic knowledge of using analytics tools to inform design decisions.
• Experience with Agile practices and working with agile development teams.
• Familiar with Design Thinking and Lean UX principles & techniques.
