Job Description: Utility EngineerJob Description: Utility EngineerDesignation: Utility Engineer Department: Boiler department Company: Eminent Paper Industries LLP Location: Kosamba Surat, Gujarat Experience required: 3 years Salary Range: 35000 to 65000 Leave: 15 Days Paid LeaveNotice Period: 30 Days Week Off: Work Timings-9:00 AM 7:00 PMJob Summary:Responsible for daily operation, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance of Boiler, RO Plant, Water Systems, Coal Management, and statutory utility compliance. Ensure smooth plant utility operations with proper documentation and reporting as per schedule (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)Key Responsibilities (In Short)1.Operate and monitor boiler to ensure continuous steam supply.2.Condensate systemhandling and monitoring 3.Maintain feed water quality and water treatment systems.4.Monitor turbine operations and power generation parameters.5.Perform routine inspections and handle troubleshooting.6.Optimize fuel consumption and improve energy efficiency.7.Ensure safety compliance and statutory adherence.8.Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation.9.Complete operational checklists and shift handovers.10.Supervise and coordinate shift manpower.11.Manage fuel handling, storage, and consumption records..Preferred Skills:Hands-on experience with Boiler, RO Plant & Water Treatment Systems.Knowledge of Coal handling & GCV monitoring.Understanding of preventive maintenance planning.Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, and utility equipment.Good reporting & documentation skills (Excel knowledge preferred).Strong troubleshooting and coordination abilities.Screening Criteria:Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Boiler & Utility operations.Practical knowledge of Boiler parameters, RO plant, and Water Treatment systems.Experience in maintaining daily utility reports and logbooks.Basic understanding of statutory compliance (GPCB / CGWA).Experience in handling breakdowns and preventive maintenance.Candidates from manufacturing industry preferred.Immediate joiners or short notice period candidates preferredRequired Qualifications:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical can also be considered if experienced in utilities).25 years of experience in Boiler & Utility Operations in a manufacturing industry.Basic knowledge of statutory compliance (GPCB / CGWA norms)Note: This job description is indicative and may be modified as per organizational requirements and company policy.
