Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer with expertise in the sales of electrical switchgear and power electronic products such as Inverters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in presales activities, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and providing technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• *Presales Activities: **
- Provide technical support during the sales process, including product selection, application engineering, and customization.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that customer requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotations, and cost estimates to customers.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay informed of industry trends and developments.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, brochures, and other marketing materials.
• *Customer Relationship Management: **
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
- Regularly update CRM systems with customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status.
- Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve products and services.
• *Product Knowledge and Training: **
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in electrical switchgear and power electronics technology.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and technical expertise.
- Provide training and technical support to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams.
• *Qualifications: **
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales of electrical switchgear, inverters, VFDs, UPS, or related products.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical and power electronic products, applications, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Sales Skills:
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and close deals in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
