Job Description
Roles & Responsibility
Drawing Understanding
• Study basic structural and architectural drawings.
• Assist engineers in identifying work areas from drawings.
• Report any drawing issues to senior engineers.
Quantity Checking
• Assist in measuring work quantities.
• Help in calculating quantities of:
• Concrete
• Steel
• Brickwork
• Plaster
Quality Monitoring
• Check materials used at site such as cement, steel, sand.
• Assist engineers in checking reinforcement before concreting.
• Ensure proper curing of concrete works.
Material Monitoring
• Monitor material usage at site.
• Inform site engineer if material shortage occurs.
• Maintain simple material usage records.
Safety Awareness
• Follow all construction site safety rules.
• Ensure workers use safety equipment like helmets and shoes.
Report unsafe conditions to the site engineer.
Documentation
• Maintain daily site work report.
• Record labour attendance and work progress.
• Assist in maintaining site registers.
