About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Upwork Manager to manage our Upwork presence, generate qualified leads, win new projects, and build strong relationships with international clients.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Upwork accounts, writing compelling proposals, communicating with prospective clients, and converting opportunities into successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize the company's Upwork profile.
• Research and identify relevant projects aligned with our services.
• Write and submit customized, high-quality proposals.
• Generate qualified leads through Upwork and other relevant channels.
• Communicate with prospective clients and understand their business requirements.
• Qualify leads and coordinate discovery calls with the internal team.
• Follow up with prospects and maintain strong client relationships.
• Negotiate project requirements, scope, and pricing when required.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, responses, and opportunities.
• Track proposal performance and conversion rates.
• Stay updated with Upwork trends, bidding strategies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to improve lead-to-client conversion.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in Upwork account management, business development, lead generation, or a similar role.
• Proven experience generating leads and winning projects through Upwork.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent proposal writing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand client requirements and communicate solutions effectively.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Experience working with international clients is preferred.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
• Experience in Digital Marketing, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, or E-commerce services.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines.
• Experience with lead tracking and sales reporting.
• Understanding of international B2B sales and client acquisition.
