Job Description
Overview
Legendary Security Services is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, customers, and visitors. Security Officers are responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting incidents while maintaining a visible security presence. Officers are expected to follow all company policies, site-specific post orders, and applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Patrol and Site Monitoring
Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned properties.
Monitor buildings, parking lots, entrances, exits, and other designated areas.
Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, security concerns, or policy violations.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter criminal activity and promote safety.
Observe and Report
Serve in an observe and report capacity.
Observe, document, and report incidents, suspicious activity, accidents, and emergencies.
Contact emergency services (911), law enforcement, fire departments, or medical personnel when appropriate.
Do not engage in law enforcement activities or physical intervention unless specifically authorized by company policy and client requirements.
Follow all site-specific post orders, policies, procedures, and client instructions.
Provide professional customer service to visitors, tenants, customers, and staff.
Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
Report any concerns, policy violations, or operational issues to management promptly.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Possess a valid state-issued Security Guard Registration Card (Guard Card) as required by law.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for assigned shifts.
Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
Ability to observe and react appropriately to changing situations.
Pay: $14.00 per hour
