About The Opportunity
A fast-growing player in the E‑commerce and Retail Technology sector focused on building conversion-driven shopping experiences for direct-to-consumer and marketplace customers. We design product-led digital storefronts that balance brand storytelling with measurable business outcomes across web and mobile.
Primary title used on LinkedIn: E‑commerce Product Designer
Location: India — On-site
Role & Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end user experiences for e‑commerce journeys—product discovery, PDP, checkout, and post-purchase flows—focused on increasing conversion and reducing friction.
• Create high-fidelity responsive prototypes and interaction specifications for web and mobile that hand off cleanly to engineering.
• Plan and run qualitative and quantitative user research, usability tests, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions and prioritise improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing to define requirements, A/B test hypotheses, and iterate on features based on analytics and user feedback.
• Build and maintain design system components, patterns, and accessibility guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across product lines.
• Measure impact using CRO metrics and analytics; turn insights into pragmatic design changes that move KPIs (conversion, AOV, retention).
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
• Portfolio with e‑commerce case studies showing measurable impact on conversion or engagement.
• Proficiency in Figma and creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Practical experience in user research and usability testing workflows.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and responsive/mobile-first design.
• Experience optimizing checkout and product detail page UX for conversion.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
Preferred
• Experience with Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools (GA4, Hotjar, Optimizely).
• Exposure to Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce implementations.
Benefits & Culture Highlights
• Collaborative, product-driven culture with close cross-functional partnerships and rapid iteration cycles.
• On‑site role enabling hands-on design reviews, prototyping sessions, and direct engineering collaboration.
