Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in inclusive classroom environments.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school culture.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications:
• Valid Illinois Special Education License (SPED License).
• Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Licensed Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) certification.
• Experience working with middle school students (grades 6-8) preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families.
Work Location & Schedule:
• Onsite in Rockford, Illinois.
• Full-time schedule aligned with the academic calendar.
• Travel assignments as part of job responsibilities.
