Job Title: Sales Support Travel Consultant
Location: Pune
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Sales Operations
Reports To: Sales Manager / Senior Travel Consultant

About the Role

Samisha Holidays is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Travel Consultant who will assist our core sales team in daily operations, itinerary preparation, and vendor coordination. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone with a background in backend travel operations who is now looking to gradually transition into a client-facing travel advisory position.

Key Responsibilities Sales Support

Assist the sales team in preparing customized itineraries based on client preferences and budgets
Follow up with DMCs and vendors for rates, confirmations, and changes
Maintain records of lead status and assist in documentation and quotations
Handle basic queries from clients via WhatsApp or email when guided by the core sales team
Client Interaction (With Support)

Support soft lead conversions under guidance from sales executives
Explain package inclusions, exclusions, and assist with itinerary clarifications
Coordinate post-sale communication and ensure smooth service delivery
Build rapport with converted clients to encourage repeat bookings
Operations Coordination

Oversee smooth handover from sales to operations post-booking
Track booking confirmations from vendors, hotels, and transport partners
Monitor booking progress and flag issues proactively
Who Should Apply

This role is ideal for someone who:

Has 1–2 years of experience in the travel industry (operations/backend/billing)
Has basic client interaction skills but wants to develop into a sales/advisory role
Is organized, process-driven, and can work well under supervision
Wants to be part of a growing team and build a long-term career in travel sales
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, Business, or related field
Prior experience in travel operations, invoicing, or backend support preferred
Good communication skills in English and Hindi (verbal and written)
Basic understanding of domestic/international tour planning
Familiarity with WhatsApp/web tools, Excel, and email etiquette
Preferred Qualities

Willingness to learn pitching/sales skills
Attention to detail and strong follow-up ability
Comfort in coordinating with third-party vendors and suppliers
Growth Path

Based on performance and initiative, the candidate can be trained and promoted into a full Sales Executive role within 3–6 months.

Pay: ₹12,532.33 - ₹25,000.00 per month
