About the role:

Location: Onsite at various Homes Victoria sites across Melbourne
Employment Type: Fixed Term (12 mth)
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
Training Facilitator – Security Operations
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Facilitator to deliver high-quality, compliance-focused training to security personnel deployed across Homes Victoria sites in Melbourne. The successful candidate will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that ensure security teams meet industry standards, legislative requirements, and site-specific protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Training Facilitator you will:
Develop and deliver induction courses and ongoing training sessions tailored to the needs of security guards working at Home Victoria sites.
Ensure all training materials comply with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and internal policies.
Collaborate with site and security management to identify skill gaps, assess training needs, and customise programs accordingly.
Maintain accurate training records, track compliance, and report on training outcomes.
Promote best practices in communication, incident reporting, and conflict resolution.

Requirements:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in delivering training within the security industry.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and compliance obligations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Working With Children Check (Employee)
Current security licence (or eligibility to obtain) and Control Room endorsement
Desirable Criteria
Prior experience working with government departments, or similarly regulated environments.
Additional qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV in Security Risk Management, Certificate IV WHS).
