Job Description
Trainee SMT Operator Clipstone, Mansfield
We are seeking a practical person to join our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Department based in Clipstone, Mansfield. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided. You will learn to operate, setup and programme surface mount machinery for the assembly of electronics products. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Duties will include training to competently:-
Setup and run screen printing equipment
Setup and run pick and place equipment
Operate and run a convection reflow oven
Programme SMT manufacturing machinery
Inspect SMT assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment
Rework and repair SMT assemblies
Personal Competencies
An interest in electronics manufacturing
Excellent attention to detail
Practical person with good fine motor skills
Good communication and team working skills
The ability to follow instructions and work to company standards and procedures
Immediate start available
Rate of pay by negotiation and short-listed candidates contacted only.
