Job Description
Trainee Sales Consultant
We are seeking a Trainee Sales Consultant to support our sales activities while developing valuable commercial and customer-facing experience. The successful candidate will assist with customer engagement, lead generation, sales presentations, and administrative tasks, contributing to business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective and existing customers through various communication channels.
Assist with generating and qualifying sales leads.
Support the sales process by providing accurate information regarding products and services.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Maintain accurate records within company systems and databases.
Follow up on customer enquiries and sales opportunities in a timely manner.
Assist with sales presentations, promotions, and customer acquisition activities.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
Follow established processes, quality standards, and company policies.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
Assist with additional sales and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Confidence when interacting with customers and prospective clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Previous internship, placement year, part-time work, or extracurricular experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or a related field.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer engagement techniques.
