Overview
Sunrise Financial Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Trainee Finance Executive to join our growing team. This is a foundational yet highly important position within our mortgage and financial services operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying clients’ financial documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness before submission.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the Canadian mortgage and finance industry.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify client financial documents (pay stubs, T4s, NOAs, bank statements, etc.)
Check income calculations and ensure document consistency
Identify missing or incorrect documentation
Perform basic financial analysis and calculations
Maintain organized and accurate client files
Work closely with senior team members to ensure smooth processing
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
Background in finance, accounting, business, or mortgage industry
Experience working with financial documents
Recent graduates are welcome to apply
Requirements
Basic knowledge of Canadian tax documents (T4, Notice of Assessment, pay statements, etc.)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
Background in finance, accounting, business, or mortgage industry
Experience working with financial documents

Pay: $34,400.00-$42,000.00 per year
