Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the Import & Export industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations related to international trade, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, handling foreign currency transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. The candidate should possess sound knowledge of export incentives, import documentation, taxation, and international payment mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable related to international customers and vendors.
• Manage foreign currency transactions and exchange rate accounting.
• Reconcile shipment costs, freight charges, customs duties, and other trade-related expenses.
Import & Export Documentation
• Verify and maintain documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, Letters of Credit (LC), and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with logistics, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and banks regarding financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
