The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Thai cuisine and the ability to prepare, cook, and present authentic dishes with both precision and creativity. Key Responsibilities Develop innovative menus and recipes for authentic Thai dishes, ensuring a balance of tradition and creativity. Prepare and cook a wide range of Thai cuisine using advanced culinary knowledge, specialized techniques, and authentic ingredients. Collaborate with management and kitchen staff to plan and refine menus, considering seasonal ingredient availability and anticipated customer demand. Inspect the quality of raw materials and prepared dishes to ensure all products meet the restaurant’s high standards. Verify the accuracy and quality of delivered products, monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed to maintain efficient operations. Determine appropriate food presentation styles and create decorative displays that reflect Thai culinary traditions. Establish production schedules and staffing requirements to guarantee timely and consistent service. Maintain strict standards of quality control, hygiene, health, and workplace safety. Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation regulations at all times. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and prep cooks in Thai culinary arts, fostering consistency, skill development, and cultural authenticity. Qualifications Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Thai cooking. Strong knowledge of authentic Thai ingredients, preparation methods, and culinary traditions. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards. Compensation Annual Salary: $40,000 - $44,000 (based on experience).
