Rashtra Defence Academy is a residential boarding school and academic institution dedicated to preparing students for RMS, RIMC, Sainik School, and other defence entrance examinations alongside their regular school education. The academy focuses on discipline, academics, personality development, and holistic growth in a structured residential environment.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate faculty member who can:
• Teach Social Science to Classes 9th & 10th.
• Teach General Studies, GK, and Current Affairs to RMS/RIMC/Sainik School preparatory batches.
• Prepare lesson plans, notes, worksheets, and test papers.
• Conduct assessments, doubt-solving sessions, and revision classes.
• Maintain discipline and classroom engagement.
• Mentor students academically and personally in a residential school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Civics, Geography, Economics) to students of Classes 8th to 10th with a focus on competitive exam preparation.
• Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the syllabus and entrance exam requirements of Sainik School, RMS, and RIMC.
• Develop and provide high-quality notes, assignments, and study materials.
• Conduct regular assessments and practice sessions to track student progress.
• Encourage critical thinking and clarity of concepts among students.
• Conduct revision sessions and clear doubts effectively.
• Collaborate with academic coordinators to enhance content delivery and classroom outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree with subjects such as History, Political Science, Geography, or related Social Science subjects.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
• Strong command over Social Science and General Awareness.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Geography preferred.
• Experience in teaching for RMS/RIMC/Sainik School entrance exams will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
