Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, qualify and release semiconductor test equipment for production.
• Support ATE systems, automated test handlers, contactors, sockets and test interfaces.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, preventive maintenance and production readiness checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, control and software-related equipment failures.
• Diagnose recurring equipment alarms, handler jams, contact failures and test interruptions.
• Improve equipment availability, utilization, OEE, MTBF, MTTR and units per hour.
• Develop preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance procedures.
• Partner with test engineering to resolve test-yield, correlation and hardware-interface issues.
• Support equipment automation using PLCs, sensors, motion controls, robotics and machine-vision systems.
• Integrate test equipment with MES, data-acquisition and factory-monitoring systems.
• Analyse equipment logs, alarm history, downtime data and failure trends.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for chronic equipment problems.
• Support new-product introduction, test-platform conversion and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers for installation, upgrades, service and technical escalation.
• Manage critical spare parts, consumables, maintenance tools and equipment documentation.
• Develop work instructions, maintenance checklists, troubleshooting guides and training materials.
• Train technicians and production teams on equipment operation and first-level troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, equipment safety, ESD, cleanroom and quality requirements.
