Territory Development Representative

Pattern Insight has an opening for a Territory Development Representative. This position is responsible for creating qualified meetings for outside sales representatives. The job includes lead generation, qualification, and lead management. The ideal candidate will have experience in territory development/lead generation with the developer community in the enterprise software space.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calling campaigns & manage relationships with target prospects and accounts
Create customer interest, answer questions, and initiate sales process
Handle inbound and campaign-based calls, lead follow-up and referral management
Capture customer data to increase knowledge of the prospect, and assist with database maintenance
Prepare tracking reports; activities, focused calling plans, leads generated, etc.
Work closely with Field Reps and Marketing in coordinating territory activity
Experience
1-3 years in a telesales position in high-tech environment
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales cycle with business and technical components
Understanding of software development process and the challenges facing software engineers, managers, and executives
Excellent communication skills
Drive to establish a career in sales
Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
