Term Human Resources Analyst- Human Resources Department - Education Centre
Job Description
Extracts and validates HR data from RVS systems. Identifies trends in data and reports on analyzed trends as required.
Designs and maintains recurring reports and interactive dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provides support to potential ERP system changes and updates. Configures updates as required.
Documents and maps HR processes. Works collaboratively with HR leaders and HR team members to streamline and improve processes.
Supports and coordinates ongoing review, changes, updates and implementation (as required) of the RVS ERP system (Atrieve). Acts as a super-user of Atrieve.
Supports analysis of compensation and terms of employment across RVS.
Provides technical support to HR team members on reporting and the RVS ERP system (Atrieve).
Tracks employee absences, analyzes trends and provides reports to HR leaders on absenteeism across RVS.
Recommends strategies and best practices to improve absence management across the division.
Demonstrates and models a genuine appreciation for, and understanding of, protocol, discretion, and professionalism in RVS.
Understands, complies with and models all legal and RVS requirements for safety and health, as they pertain to the workplace.
Engages in professional development on an ongoing basis.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Economics, Computer Science, Analytics or a related field is preferred.
2 – 5 years of experience working with HR analytics, compensation analysis and HR process improvement.
Additional formal training such as an HR Certificate, HR Diploma and/or Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation is considered an asset.
Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset.
An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.
Knowledge and Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of HRIS and/or ERP system.
Effective verbal and written communication, organization, prioritization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn technical systems quickly and efficiently.
Proven ability to establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external clients.
Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Intermediate abilities with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power (BI)and/or other data analysis tools are required
