Job Purpose: The Telesales Representative at Dan Wesson Firearms plays a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing our dealer and distributor network through proactive, relationship-driven inside sales. As a passionate advocate of the Dan Wesson brand, this individual serves as a key liaison between our precision-crafted handgun portfolio and our partners in the firearms industry. By combining product expertise, persuasive communication, and CRM diligence, the Telesales Representative drives sales performance, enhances dealer engagement, and contributes to the sustained growth and market presence of Dan Wesson Firearms.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Sales Dealer Support
Make outbound calls to FFL dealers, distributors, and specialty retailers to promote Dan Wesson products.
Develop and manage relationships with existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Educate customers on the unique selling points of Dan Wesson DWX and 1911-style pistols, including technical specs and craftsmanship.
Communicate promotional programs, availability, MAP policies, and pricing structures.
Lead Generation Prospecting
Identify and engage prospective dealers through phone outreach, CRM tools, and trade show follow-ups.
Qualify leads and assists new dealers through onboarding and first-time orders.
CRM Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate customer records, call notes, and pipeline stages in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
Provide regular reports on call activity, conversion rates, and account health to sales leadership.
Industry Expertise Brand Representation
Stay up to date on Dan Wesson product releases, as well as competitor offerings in the premium handgun space.
Be a trusted resource to customers for product specs, warranty policies, and usage best practices.
Represent Dan Wesson in a professional, brand-aligned manner consistent with its reputation for quality and heritage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to insure a high level of communication and understanding.
Participate in internal and external educational opportunities to insure continuous learning and professional growth.

Complete other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Timely and regular attendance is required to ensure workflow is not interrupted.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist all employees in the department in completing their work when necessary.

Education
High School Diploma
Required Experience Skills
2+ years of telesales or inside sales experience, preferably in the firearms or outdoor sporting goods industry.
Solid understanding of handguns, FFL regulations, and 2A community values.
Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and CRM management abilities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
Preferred Experience Skills
Knowledge of Dan Wesson, CZ-USA, or high-end DWX and 1911 platforms.
Familiarity with dealer/distributor structures and sales cycles in the firearms industry.
Experience working with federal/state firearms compliance is a strong plus.

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws.
Must know basic firearm safety
Ability to pass criminal background test and drug test.
Ability to work overtime when required.
