Job Description
Software Testing Specialist
We seek an experienced Sr QA Engineer with a strong background in software testing techniques, particularly in data warehouse and reporting & analytics. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in testing backend procedures, packages, and functions, as well as Tableau and dashboard testing.
Main responsibilities include:
• Testing Tableau dashboards to ensure accurate data and filters.
• Understanding and testing backend procedures, packages, and functions to validate their accuracy against documented requirements.
• Developing meaningful test cases to ensure proper coverage and prevent defects.
• Evaluating and interpreting technical requirements and test reports/dashboards provided against the requirements.
• Identifying functional test cases required to validate software components, executing, and confirming development accuracy against requirements.
• Creating relevant test data to ensure thorough testing coverage.
This position also requires expertise in PL/SQL procedures, packages, and Agile methodologies, as well as excellent communication skills and ability to self-supervise and manage multiple efforts within tight deadlines.
