Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a retail environment is highly desirable.
Strong customer service orientation and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer experiences.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
Solid understanding of retail operations, including sales techniques, inventory management, merchandising principles, and Health and Safety policies.
Confidence to take on leadership duties, supervise, coach, and build trust within the team. Demonstrates excellence in customer service, adaptability, flexibility, time management, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting safe work practices.
Physically fit and can work in a fast-paced environment when needed.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in basic software systems (Excel, Word, communication platforms) and experience with rostering.
Basic Understanding of health, safety, and wellness practices within the retail industry.
Scope of the role includes key holder responsibilities, direct management of a team of 12-15 reports, and engagement with the Store Manager on financial focus points and the wider business strategy.
